10 Marshy area Rectory Lane








Immediately south of the level crossing on Rectory Lane is a small poorly drained area which is always damp and wet in winter. It is hosts a distinctive flora rich in rushes, sedges and other damp loving plants. Common plants and wildflowers include: for-get-me-nots, meadow buttercup, plantain, white clover, meadow fleabane, meadow sweet and common sour thistle.
